MICHAEL ALUOTTO

President | Private Wealth Manager 

Michael Aluotto is Founder and President of Vertex Wealth Management and serves as Private Wealth Manager at the firm. He has been a wealth manager for more than a quarter century,  providing financial planning and asset management to clients.  

Prior to founding Vertex Wealth Management, Michael was a Business Financial Advisor with Ameriprise Financial, Inc., where he provided financial planning services. From 1996 through 2008, Michael was a Financial Consultant and Senior Vice President with RGR Financial Corp., an independent broker/dealer. In this role, he further honed his expertise in supporting business owners and corporate clients as he managed assets within employee retirement and profit-sharing plans. Concurrently, Michael was a Managing Partner and Founder of RGR Financial Group, LLC, a business consulting and development company.

In 1992, Michael joined Smith Barney Shearson as a Financial Consultant where he managed assets for corporate executives and venture capitalists by diversifying clients' concentrated stock positions into balanced portfolios. Michael assisted his clients in obtaining corporate financing through Smith Barney Shearson's Investment Banking department by underwriting initial public offerings and corporate debt offerings.

Michael is a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor® and an Investment Advisor Representative. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University, where he studied Personal Financial Planning.
